Bolivian police say 12 people are dead and nine more injured as a result of a crash between a bus and a truck.
Regional transit director Jorge Butron describes it as a head-on collision.
Eleven of those killed were riding in the truck, and the bus driver's assistant also died.
Today's crash took place on the highway that connects the cities of La Paz and Cochabamba.
People in rural Bolivia often get around by travelling in trucks alongside cargo.
