Businessman shot at, robbed in Rohini

A 37-year-old businessman was allegedly shot at by unidentified men after he resisted their attempt to snatch his bag containing Rs 10,000 in cash and bank documents in Begumpur area of Rohini, police said today.
Baldev, was returning home after closing his shop on Sunday when someone called out his name from behind, they added.
As soon as he turned, two people tried to snatch his bag that contained Rs 10,000 in cash, a cell phone and some bank documents, the police said.
Baldev did not let go of his bag even as the accused kept thrashing him. One of the accused fired at him leaving him injured, they said.

The victim noted down the number of the motorcycle on which the accused had come, the police said, adding they were looking for the accused on the basis of the number of the vehicle shared by the victim.
