Candle march demanding arrest of accused in gangrape of minor

A candle march was taken out in Karhera village of Sahibabad demanding early arrests of the accused involved in the gangraped and murder of a minor girl.
On October 22 the minor girl, who had gone to graze a goat, was gangraped by three persons and then strangulated to death when she resisted, president of western Uttar Pradesh wing of Sarvhara Varg Vikas Samiti Surendra Singh Chandel claimed.
The candle march was taken out last night.
If the accused are not arrested, the Balmiki Samaj will hamper sanitation work in National Capital Region and western Uttar Pradesh, Chandel said.
