Cardamom prices rose by 0.36% to Rs 937.50 per kg in futures trading today amid positive cues from spot market on pick-up in demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in April moved up by Rs 3.40, or 0.36%, to Rs 937.50 per kg in a business turnover of 448 lots.

Analysts attributed the gain in cardamom prices at futures trade to rising demand in the spot market amid restricted supplies from producing belts.
