Cardamom prices eased by 0.24 per cent to Rs 805.80 per kg in futures trading today as traders locked-in gains at prevailing higher levels amid easing demand in the spot market against sufficient stocks.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in June fell by Rs 1.90 or 0.24 per cent to Rs 805.80 per kg in a business turnover of 21 lots.
On similar lines, the spice for delivery in July contracts traded lower by Rs 1.70 or 0.20 per cent to Rs 830 per kg in 14 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-taking by participants at existing level, fall in demand in spot market against adequate stocks position mainly influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.
