Centre to release Rs 1449.88 cr to Assam as royalty for crude

The Centre will release Rs 1449.88 crore to the Assam government as royalty for crude oil.
This was conveyed by Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
A state government spokesperson said the amount will be released by the Centre as early as possible.
