Civil services topper Ira Singhal calls on AP CM

Civil Services examination topper Ira Singhal met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here today.
Ira had become the first physically-handicapped woman to top the civil services examination.
Suffering from Scoliosis, a spine-related disorder, 31-year-old Ira, an IRS officer, had clinched the top position in her sixth attempt.
Ira, who is currently undergoing training at the MCR Human Resources Development Institute here, called on Naidu at the secretariat, an official release said.
Lakshmi Bhavya, who secured 88th rank in the Civil Services Examination, also met Naidu here today. She hails from Andhra Pradesh.
