Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami today stopped for a cup of tea at a stall in this district with his party functionaries in tow.
The Chief Minister, a native of this district, sipped a cup of tea at a small village, Samuthiram, with Health Minister C Vijayabaskar and a couple of party colleagues giving him company.
He stopped over for his tea break after inaugurating a Primary Health centre in the village, coming under his Edappadi Assembly constituency.
Having promptly paid for the tea while appreciating the owner for making a tasty brew, the Chief Minister also sought to know if the shop was doing good business in the locality.
