On Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech on the Motion of Thanks on the President's address in the Rajya Sabha, the Chief Minister said his party prefers to take a critical view on anything where people's interests were involved.
The Prime Minister in his speech had taken a dig at Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad for bringing a record of people who did not have accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana and said if the UPA had done its work even with binoculars during its tenure, it would have been able to do a good job.
He said though the NDA Government had launched the Jan Dhan Yojana with much fanfare, people were yet to get benefit under the scheme as crediting every individual's bank account with Rs 15 lakh still remain a far cry.
He also criticised the Prime Minister's statement on doubling farmers' income by 2022 and wanted to know whether it was commensurate with fund allocation.
