Copra edges up on scattered demand

In restricted activity, copra prices firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal at the dry fruits market in the national capital today on some demand from retailers.
However, other dry fruits traded in a narrow range on little doing and settled at previous levels.
Traders said some demand from retailers mainly led to the rise in copra prices.
Copra prices were up by Rs 100 to Rs 12,300-14,100 per quintal.
