Crocodile found dead at Ranganthittu sanctuary

An adult crocodile was found dead in the Cauvery river at Ranganathittu bird sanctuary in Mandya district.
The carcass of the reptile was found floating in the river last night by a forest guard, forest officials said.
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences has been asked to conduct a post-mortem, they said.
