CRPF jawan shoots self
"Constable Santosh Kumar of 61 Battalion CRPF committed suicide by shooting himself at the Battalion Headquarter in Shivpora area of the city," a police spokesman said.
The constable was rushed to SMHS hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
A case has been registered in this regard, the spokesman said, adding, the reason behind Kumar's extreme step was not immediately known.
