Cycle rally to create awareness of environmental concerns

:The 10th 'RX Life Hercules Annual Cycle Rally, aimed at making people aware of environmental concerns, ensure safe rides and maintain decorum on the road, will get underway here on December 11.
About 2000 cyclists are expected to participate in the rally, which would begin from Lady Hill Circle here at6.30 AM that day, Svasti RX Life Trust Trustee and chief co-ordinator of the event Giridhar Kamath said in a release.
The rally also aims to remind the people about the value of the Western Ghats in the ecological system,he said.
The slogan of the rally would be 'Safe Roads, Save Lives', he said.

The organisers would also hold the Kannadiga World Photography Contest on the topic, 'Riding Together' and had invited both amateurs and professionals, he said.
