The incident came to light at New Ashok Nagar at around 2 pm when neighbours complained of foul smell emanating from the house and informed police.
Police broke open the door and found Bobby Sharma (29) and his wife Anita Sharma (24), who hailed from Aligarh, lying dead in the bathroom.
The couple were found dead in the bathroom of their house.
They had a love marriage a year ago and had shifted to Delhi recently.
Investigators believe that the couple committed suicide as the main door of the house as well as that of the bathroom were locked from inside. Also, there were no external injuries on their bodies.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem.
