"The depression over central and adjoining north-east Bay of Bengal intensified into a deep depression and lay centred at 0830 hrs IST of 06.11.2014 over Central Bay of Bengal about 580 Kms southeast of Visakhapatnam.
"It would move northwestwards and intensify further into a cyclonic storm during next 24 hours. It would then move west northwestward towards Andhra Pradesh coast. It would weaken gradually into a Depression while reaching the coast on 8th November 2014 night," the India Meteorological Department said in a report.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers would occur at many places over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, at a few places over South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at isolated places over Rayalaseema on November eight, it said.
The Andhra Pradesh coast was hit by the devastating cyclone 'hudhud' last month which caused about 50 deaths and loss to the tune of about Rs 60,000 crore in Visakhapatnam and neighbouring districts.
