After this association, Skyscanner will launch a consumer activation campaign, offering fans a variety of exciting offers including chance to meet Delhi Daredevils players, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the sponsorship deal, Skyscanner India Senior Marketing Manager Kavitha Gnanamurthy said: "This association would allow us to reach out to millions of IPL fans, empowering them with the tools to search for the most economical fares from over a thousand airline and travel sites."
"The first leg of the IPL is being played in UAE boosting travel between the two countries. We, at Skyscanner, have noticed a 360 per cent increase in search volume for flights from India to UAE for March over Feb 2014.
