The Ghalib Institute has been sanctioned Rs 10 lakh to celebrate the birth anniversary of Urdu Poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz.
Rs 10 lakh has been sanctioned to Pt Chaturlal Memorial Society for organising a classical music concert while an an equal amount will be given to Akshara National Classical Theatre of India.
It was also decided to sanction Rs five lakh to Bharatiya Jnanpith.
