"Dental quacks in the state have become the root cause of various deadly blood-borne diseases including HIV, oral cancer and Hepatitis-B", President, IDA, Dr Gautam Sharma said.
IDA President, who also apprised the state Health Minister Bali Bhagat about the defunct dental council in the state, said the court has put on hold the appointment of Registrar till further orders.
The Minister on his part assured the IDA President that stern action will be taken against quacks, terming it as "a grave threat to the health of the people of the state".
