The company proposes to issue secured redeemable non-convertible debentures amounting to Rs 400 crore and a greenshoe option up to Rs 175 crore on private placement basis", it said in a regulatory filing today.
DHFL said the proposal to raise the fund is pursuant to special resolution passed by the shareholders in July 2015.
The issue will open on June 17 and will close on the same day, it said.
Coupon rate of the bond is fixed at 9.10 per cent per annum.
