A Judicial Magistrate Court here today rejected the bail application of Divakaran, brother of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's close aide Sasikala Natarajan, arrested in an attempt to murder case.
The court, however, allowed Divakaran to avail first class facilities in the Tiruchirappalli prison, where he is lodged after his arrest on March 22.
Divakaran and two others were arrested on a complaint by one Tamizharvan that the trio allegedly threatened to kill him.
He was on bail after his arrest earlier in a case relating to alleged demolition of a house in February last year.
