The company has 17 exclusive showrooms, including the one opened today in the city, DSK Benelli Chairman Shirish Kulkarn told reporters here.
DSK Benelli, which is just 14 months old, has sold nearly 2,500 bikes in six types, ranging from Rs 1.77 lakh to Rs 12,07 lakh for 250cc to 1130c, so far, he added.
After the expansion, the company expects to sell 4,500 bikes by 2017.
To a question on coming out with lesser engine power bikes, the official said Benelli had showcased a 135cc Mini Bike, which may cost Rs 1.3 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh.
