According to the prosecution, Additional Sessions judge, S P Yadav yesterday, awarded the sentence in connection with the murder of Mohd Mukeem and attempt to murder on Taqi Ahmed and Nabi Ahmed on March 21, 2010.
The FIR lodged at the Katra Bazar police station said, the trio had been called by the assailants to Barav village to resolve a pending dispute. However, they were instead attacked by them, injuring all the three. One of the victim, Mohd Mukeem, had later died while being shifted to a hospital.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the convicts identified as Radhey Shyam, Ram Singh, Vijay Kumar, Rajesh, Nanka, Talha, Ubaid and Bashir Khan.
