Elderly woman drowns in Ganga

An elderly woman drowned in the Ganga while collecting water at the Kedarghat here today, police said.
65-year-old Kamla Devi had come to the town yesterday to visit a relative and went to Kedarghat this morning to collect its water when she slipped into the river, police said.
