Eminem, 42, came in a cameo as a celebrity on a TV show 'Skylark Tonight' in the movie, where he talked about his music before casually saying that he's "gay", reported Ace Showbiz.
"When I say things about gay people, or people think my lyrics are homophobic - it's because I'm gay," Eminem said.
Seth Rogen, who is playing the show's producer, freaks out and tell Franco to ask Eminem to clarify his statement.
"People probably are shocked by what you're saying," Franco said.
"I'm more shocked with people haven't figured it out now. I mean, it's kind of like I've been playing gay peek-a-boo," said Eminem.
According to piracy-tracking firm Excipio, the movie was downloaded by 904,237 people till yesterday afternoon.
People can also watch the comedy via Microsoft's Xbox Video, Google Play and Sony's official website.
