The programme, organised on September 28, saw the participation of 17 eminent and renowned poets from across the country. The event was compared by renowned poet Dr Majid Devband. The people from all walks of life were invited for the 'mushaira', police said.
About 400 persons, including professors and lecturers of Jamia Millia University, members of Nagrik Suraksha Samiti, Aman Committee, members of RWA/MWA, advocates, journalists, and students of Jamia University were enthralled by the poets.
