Facebook CEO expresses support to 'Digital India'

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg today expressed his support to the 'Digital India' campaign and changed his profile picture to convey his appreciation for the Narendra Modi government's effort to connect rural communities to internet.

"I changed my profile picture to support Digital India, the Indian government's effort to connect rural communities to the internet and give people access to more services online," he wrote on his facebook page.

He also asked his followers to show their support for Digital India initiative.

The new profile picture showed a smiling Zuckerberg with three colours of the Indian flag.
