FCI officials booked for misappropriating wheat bags

Those booked are Supervisory Officer Sunderlal and three assistant grade officials - Mohanlal Narang, Puran Chand and Balwinder Singh, police said.

As per the complaint lodged by FCI District Manager, 6,713 bags of wheat were found to be missing from the godown here during a quarterly inspection conducted by FCI.

Balwinder Singh, one of the accused, was earlier suspended on the charge of pilfering paddy bags from the godown.
