The concrete bridge, connecting Parowa and Tezpur Central University at Solmara area, collapsed while workers were engaged in construction work, injuring five of them, police said.
All the injured were admitted to Tezpur Civil Hospital.
More than 200 workers have been engaged in the construction of the bridge.
