Resuming on 82 for five, overnight batsman Keenan Vaz departed without adding any run to his last night's score, even as Goa further slumped to 82 for six.
But Gadekar and Ravikant took the fight to the enemy's camp and managed to consolidate the position.
Gadekar coupled with Shadab Jakati (4 not out) to take Goa home with a cover drive. Gadekar's unbeaten 57 came off 102 balls, studded with 10 fours and a six.
With this victory, Goa have collected six points to take their tally to 22 points from seven matches, while Kerala remained on 16 points from as many outings.
