With the arrest of four people, police busted a gang of burglars and seized 78 mobile phones, gold ornaments and cash worth Rs 14,000 from them, an official said Tuesday.
A police team intercepted two motorcycles and arrested four people during checking at Samrat Chowk, SP (city) Shlok Kumar said.
During interrogation, the accused persons -- Akash, Ajay, Sumit and Arvind -- confessed to committing several burglaries and snatching mobile phones and gold ornaments, he said.
A case was registered in the matter, the SP added.
