Go forward with work on Gas pipeline project:CM to authorities

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today instructed the authorities concerned to go forward with the work of laying the gas pipeline from the Kochi LNG terminal to Kasargode.
Land required for the purpose has to be acquired as the pipeline passes through seven districts, starting from Kochi to Kasargode.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a meeting with GAIL authorities at the Secretariat here.
Chandy also asked the authorities to address the doubts and fears of the people in areas through which the pipeline passes.
"Awareness campaigns have to be conducted," he said.
Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty was also present at the meeting.
