The public functionaries include legislators, MPs, chairpersons of various government corporations, among others.
Several MLAs had failed to file their statement of assets and liabilities before the state Lokayukta, which is mandatory as per the law.
"In the last financial year, only 28 out of 40 MLAs had filed their statements," a senior official attached to Lokayukta said.
The Lokayukta issued the public notice today asking the public functionaries to file their statement of assets and liabilities before June 30.
"Those who have not submitted their statement of Assets and Liabilities in the prescribed proforma for the financial years 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15 should file the same before June 30," the notice adds.
The non-compliance with the above requirement shall attribute the consequences provided in sub-section (2) of section 21 of the Goa Lokayukta Act 2011, it adds.
