Gujjar quota: Bainsala, supporters march towards Sawamadhopur

However, the agitators have not disturbed vehicular movement on any road so far, but the police as precautionary measure have diverted traffic on certain routes.

"The Gujjars now have made Khushali Darra their base, which is about 12 kms from Chan village, and towards Sawaimadhopur city," a police officer said.

A number of police personnel have been deployed in the district to ensure law and order and to monitor the activities of the agitating Gujjars, he said.

Bainsla has demanded the state government to expedite the matter of four per cent quota to Gujjars and other castes in government jobs.
