"The respondents (Delhi government, Centre and G B Pant Hospital) are directed to ensure the treatment of the petitioner (Salma) the G B Pant Hospital is not stopped for lack of funds," Justice V K Jain said.
The court said its order be sent to the hospital authorities for compliance.
Salma, a resident of Nand Nagri here who hails from a poor family background, has been suffering from 70 to 80 per cent blockage of her main renal duct of the kidney and was advised to undergo the corrective surgery.
The woman has been undergoing treatment for the ailment since 2001, the lawyer said.
