Churu was followed by Sriganganagar which sizzled at 47.7 degrees Celsius, the MeT Department said here.
Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur and Ajmer recorded maximum temperatures of 47.3, 47, 46.2, 46, 45.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
Jaipur also braved a hot day at 44.9 degreed Celsius, it said.
Mercury in Pilani and Dabok settled at 44.1 and 43.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
According to a MeT forecast, the heat wave conditions would prevail in the state for the next 24 hours.
