Heat wave intensifies in Rajasthan

Blistering heat wave prevailed in the desert state of Rajasthan where Churu continued to remain the hottest place, registering a maximum temperature of 47.6 degree Celsius.
Kota, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jaipur and Barmer recorded 46.2, 45.7, 45, 44.6 and 44.5 degree Celsius respectively.
Normal life took a hit in Bikaner division where severe heat wave conditions prevailed in its isolated parts.
According to the local Met officials, similar weather conditions will continue to prevail in the state in the coming days.
