Heat wave sweeps Raj; Jaisalmer at 45.8 C

Heat wave conditions today continued unabated in parts of Rajasthan with Jaisalmer recording a maximum temperature of 45.8 degrees Celsius.
According to MeT office, Kota sizzled at 45.2 degrees C whereas Ganganagar, Barmer, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Chittorgarh recorded maximum of 44.9, 44.8, 44.7, 44.6 and 44.5 degrees C respectively.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rains also occurred at isolated places in Jodhpur and Udaipur divisions.
MeT office, in a forecast, said that heat wave conditions would continue in the state during next 24 hours.
