Hinduja Ventures appoints Chintopanth as Group CFO - Media

Hinduja Ventures Limited (HVL), a Hinduja Group firm, today announced appointment of Amar Chintopanth as its Group CFO - Media.

He will be responsible for finance of all media group companies including its flagship IndusInd Media and Communications Limited (IMCL).

Chintopanth, a qualified chartered accountant will report to Tony D'silva, Group CEO - Media, HVL and MD & CEO IMCL, the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the development, Tony D'silva said: "His rich experience in the financial space will help us immensely as we work towards the next phase of digitisation and growth."

Chintopanth said: "My immediate focus is to continue the emphasis on taking advantage of opportunities presented by digitisation in the cable business."

Earlier, he was associated with C C Chokshi Advisors in Corporate Finance Advisory Services.

Chintopanth has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounts and worked with firms like Polaris Software, ITC Classic Finance and Master Strips.

HVL is the holding company of IMCL. It has a subscriber base of 8.5 million spread across 36 major cities.
