Khairi Begum alias Rahana was killed by her husband Akhtar and four others identified as Furkaan, Minchu, Sher Singh and Gul Mohammad, prosecution sources said.
The couple were having problems as they had no child.
Akhtar wanted to marry another woman and Minchu is the son of the woman Akhtar wanted to marry, prosecution added.
On April 4, 2009, Akhtar and four others took the victim to a dargah in Sadar Kotwali area and killed her.
Additional District Judge S N Tripathi sentenced all the five to life term and also imposed a fine of Rs 42,000 on each of them.
