Hyd Metro rolling stock to arrive next month

The first train of the Hyderabad Metro Rail, made at Hyundai-Rotem Factory at Changwon, South Korea, is expected to arrive here in the third week of May.
The train successfully completed run on a test track at the Hyundai Rotem Factory recently.
Y M Deosthalee, Chairman, L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited, said representatives of Hyundai Rotem, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Japan, Knorr-Bremse, Germany, Hankuk Fibre, Korea travelled in the train during the roll out ceremony at Changwon factory.
"We are proud to see the train coming to Hyderabad ahead of the scheduled date, which is a benchmark and a trend-setter," Deosthalee said in a press release here.

V B Gadgil, CE & MD, LTMRHL, said the people of Hyderabad will have a glimpse of Metro train on tracks in June 2014 when the trial runs will start.
