The incident took place at Rudrakhya village, about 60 km from here, late last night.
The wild animal entered the house of sarpanch Shoukar Patel and attacked his family members who were fast asleep. The injured were identified as Patel's father Bulaji (75), mother Kudra Bi (70) and brother Mushtaq (40), they said.
When they raised an alarm, angry villagers cornered the animal and killed it on the spot.
