Actor Varun Dhawan, who will soon be seen in the upcoming romantic-drama "Badrinath ki Dulhania" alongside Alia Bhatt, says he does not want to come out of the film's character Badree.
The 29-year-old star says it rarely happens that a role leaves such a huge impact on him.
"I usually want to leave my character and move ahead but with Badree I don't want to I want to keep him with me," he wrote on Twitter.
The actor also thanked film's producer Karan Johar for introducing him with director Shashank Khaitan and Alia. The trio has earlier worked in the 2014 film "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania".
"Thank you Karan Johar for making me meet Shashank and Alia. Thanks for putting up with Shashi and vaedehi," he tweeted.
In another post, the actor informed his fans that he has finished the shooting of "Badrinath ki Dulhania".
"Finished shooting for #badrinathkidhulania. I'm so grateful that I got to work with the most wonderful crew and reunite so many old friends."
Meanwhile, Alia also took to the micro-blogging site and shared the news with her followers.
"I can't believe #badrinathkidhulania is over already!!! It feels like we started shooting just yesterday! Guess cause it's like family," she wrote.
"Thank you my Shashi (Shashank Khaitan) thank you dear Badri (Varun Dhawan) and Thank you (Karan Johar) for making this happen... AGAIN," she later tweeted.
Varun and Alia made their Bollywood debut together in 2012 with Karan Johar's "Student of the Year".
