IM man sent to 14 days judicial custody

An Indian Mujhahideen terrorist who was arrested yesterday was sent to 14-day judicial custody in connection with a cheating case by a local court here.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Narender Kumar yesterday sent Saleem Patla to judicial custody up to November 14 in connection with a cheating case here, police said.
Patla is also wanted in connection with an attack on PAC camp in Meerut in 1992 and was arrested in Khatoli in a joint operation by ATS and police yesterday.
Fake ID and mobile SIMs were recovered from him and he was booked under Sections 467, 468 469 471 of IPC by the Muzaffarnagar police, SSP H N Singh said here today.
Meanwhile ATS of Meerut is preparing to seek warrants from the court in connection with the Meerut attack case of 1992 and he may be produced in Meerut court later, police said.
