"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India, from a developing country, will become a developed nation in the next four years," Paswan said while addressing two election meetings in support of BJP candidates.
The Union Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister further said the world has started looking up at India with respect and as a new "super power" because of Modi's efforts.
On November 17, RJD chief Lalu Prasad had alleged during his poll meetings in these constituencies that the BJP was out to stamp out socialists.
Paswan assured the people of the constituencies going to the polls in the first phase of polling on November 25 that efforts would be made to revive the Japla Cement Factory in Palamau.
