Amrita Kaur fell from an upstairs floor at the Bradford home along with her mother Gundeep Sanghera, who also sustained critical injuries during the fall.
They both were found in the garden by a window cleaner and taken to hospital where Sanghera was arrested on suspicion of murdering her child.
The 37-year-old is still detained in hospital on bail but is due to appear before Bradford Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
Senior crown prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service in Yorkshire and Humberside, Mark Langan said: "The CPS has been working closely with West Yorkshire Police in connection with this case.
At the time of the incident police confirmed that Amrita had died from injuries consistent with a fall and said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
The 'Bradford Telegraph' reported that neighbours believed the woman and her child had moved from the south of England around two months before the incident and the baby's father reportedly travelled up to West Yorkshire to identify her body.
A paramedic was later seen carrying the child in his arms to the ambulance.
