"Twenty Indian passengers who had travelled from Liberia were continuing their onward journey to Mumbai via Johannesburg on-board SA284. These passengers were screened for EVD symptoms when they arrived from Liberia in Johannesburg and were found to have no symptoms indicating EVD," South African Airways Country Manager Sajid Khan said in a statement here.
South African Airways flight SA284 arrived at the Mumbai International Airport at 0005 hours.
"We request all tourists to not panic," it said.
With no case of EVD reported in the country, South Africa remains open and completely safe for all planning to visit the nation, it said.
