In futures, castorseeds recovered slightly on mild speculative offtake as well as renewed export enquiries.
In non-edible segment, Castorseed bold went down by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 3,290 from Wednesday's closing of Rs 3,300 and castoroil commercial eased by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 688 from Rs 690 previously. Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 730 per 10 kg.
Turning to futures, castorseed for the September contract resumed higher at Rs 3,470 and moved in a range of Rs 3,485 and Rs 3,451 before ending at Rs 3,466 as against Rs 3,464 previously, showing a mere gain of Rs 2 per tonne.
Moving to edible segment, Groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unaltered at Rs 1,185 and Rs 612 per 10 kg, respectively.
