ISM student allegedly commits suicide
G P Kunal, a second year B.Tech (Petroleum) student hailing from Hyderabad, allegedly committed suicide in his hostel room last night, they said.
When Kunal, staying in Ambar Hostel, did not come out from his room in the evening his friends knocked at his room at around 10 PM and found the door locked from inside. When they did not get any response from Kunal, the students informed ISM authorities.
One of the student entered the room through ventilator and found him hanging with rope from the ceiling fan following which the police was informed.
A suicide note and some love letters were seized from his room, police said, adding investigations are on.
The registrar of ISM has informed parents of Kunal in Hyderabad.
