J-K Cong expresses grief over Udhampur bus accident

Jammu and Kashmir Congress today expressed its deep shock and grief over the tragic accident in Udhampur, in which 21 people died.
While terming the bus accident very unfortunate, Pradesh Congress Committee President & Former Minister G A Mir expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and offered his condolences.
He criticized the Government for failing to control such accidents and asked it to take immediate measures for streamlining the public transport to ensure the safety of passengers.
He also asked the Government to provide the injured passengers immediate medicare facilities and compensation to the families who have lost their kith and kin.

Twenty one people died and at least 30 others were injured, six of them critically, when a bus they were travelling in rolled down into a deep gorge in Latti area of Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
