J-K govt committed to provide road connectivity: Bhalla
"Government is committed to connect every nook and corner of the state with nearest headquarters by providing road connectivity", Bhalla said at a public meeting at Gangyal after laying the foundation of a 9.80m long vented causeway, coming up at an estimated cost of Rs 22 lakh.
Bhalla asked the Roads and Buildings officers to redouble their efforts in completing the ongoing construction work of the culvert well before the start of rainy season.
He said people of Babliana and Gangyal areas have faced a lot of hardships during the last monsoon due to choking of drains with mud. PTI AB
